New to the popular Vision CCTV power supply range is the VRS1212000-18. This is a 12V dc / 12A 19" rack mountable PSU providing up to 18 individually fused outputs. Using resettable (PTC) fuses provides the user with individual protection of each powered circuit.
Resettable fuses allow the user to resolve a fault on an output without the need of replacing an internal fuse within the enclosure. Once the fault has been cleared and the fuse has been allowed to cool down the output can be reconnected and the power resumed.
Complementing the circuit protection the unit also features 'fuse health' LEDs which are illuminated on the front panel to show correct functionality of each of the power circuits. Output connections are via screw terminals accessed at the rear panel, along with the switchable mains IEC input. A mains indicator is also located on the front panel.
In addition to being rack mounted, the unit can also be desk mounted using the feet supplied or wall mounted using the allocated fixing holes. This allows flexibility as to the range of applications where the power supplies can be used or installed.
The units have been designed to complement the existing Vision products and offer all the benefits of the range such as high efficiency switch mode operation, reliability and a modular construction to make servicing easy.
