Scope of the Issue This Technical Advisory Bulletin identifies a potential issue with the PB-101 PG2 and PB-102 PG2 panic buttons. The potential issue can cause higher than normal current draw, which may cause the device batteries to be flat at the time the device is installed, or cause the device battery to run down very rapidly after installation.
Action If you have a PB-101 PG2 or PB-102 PG2 panic button with a production date between August 2017 and October 2017 (Serial Numbers starting from 3217 to 4217) please replace that panic button with a panic button manufactured prior to August 2017 (if possible) or with a panic button produced after October 2017 and return the panic button via RMA procedure.
Status A new hardware change will be applied on production and a dedicated notification will be sent as soon as the new PB-101 PG2 and PB-102 PG2 units are available.
